MemberCam live camera monitoring product

01 · Full stack · Azure · iOS

MemberCam

MemberCam is a subscription camera service for property owners and businesses. Customers buy cameras, connect them over Wi‑Fi, and watch live feeds in the browser or the iOS app — including night IR mode, shared viewer access, and rolling playback when their plan includes it.

In practice the stack covers the whole journey: ASP.NET Core web app and APIs, RTMP ingest and HLS/FLV playback, SQL and blob storage on Azure, Stripe checkout, email/SMS flows, a separate Ubuntu streaming host, Raspberry Pi camera clients, and GitHub Actions deploying Linux containers to App Service. Day-to-day work is keeping live video reliable, entitlements correct, and deploys boring.

  • Live dashboard, member accounts, hardware checkout, playback rights
  • Cloud streaming, Azure hosting, and companion iOS app

Raspberry Pi with GPS used for Bluetooth crowd mapping

02 · Raspberry Pi · GPS · Bluetooth

Bluetooth crowd map · Linux-Sat-App

I built a Bluetooth device detector on a Raspberry Pi that scanned nearby devices and plotted them on a map — using a GPS module for location — so you could see density and movement instead of guessing crowd size by eye.

The goal was crowd counting: treat unique Bluetooth signals as a proxy for people in an area, then place those detections on a map as you move. The public Linux-Sat-App repo is the GPS side of that work — a Linux console app reading an Adafruit Ultimate GPS over USB (position, time, signal quality) so detections could be geotagged.

  • Pi + Bluetooth scanning + map overlay for crowd estimates
  • GPS feed via Adafruit Ultimate GPS (USB) in Linux-Sat-App

AltUten app — scan, search, and AI product checks

03 · TypeScript · Mobile · Web

AltUten

AltUten helps people check whether food products fit their needs — scan a barcode, look up the product, and get a clearer answer than reading tiny labels under supermarket lighting.

TypeScript client focused on a fast scan → result loop, plus the AltUten marketing site. Built to feel instant and trustworthy when you’re standing in an aisle deciding what to buy.

  • Barcode scanning for grocery / product checks
  • Mobile app and AltUten.com website

Stock market charts representing StockGame

04 · C# · Simulation

StockGame

A stock trading game / simulation — practice buying and selling in a controlled market without real money on the line. Built to explore market mechanics, portfolio state, and a playable loop around price movement.

Mitt Dekkhotell — staff handling a wheel in the tire hotel

05 · Team · .NET · Next.js · Azure

Mittdekkhotell

I’ve been on and off part of the development team at Mittdekkhotell for a few years — a tire-hotel platform for workshops and customers who store seasonal tires between summer and winter.

Work there is product and platform development with the team: APIs, web UI, and Azure deployment — keeping bookings, inventory, and customer flows solid for a real seasonal storage business. Not a personal GitHub project; team product work.

  • On/off development team contribution over several years
  • .NET API, Next.js UI, Azure environments
AiDekkinfo — tire data and AI tooling for Mittdekkhotell

06 · Solo · C# · Azure · React

AiDekkinfo

End-to-end tire intelligence for Mittdekkhotell: an ASP.NET Core API with Azure AD auth, Azure Document Intelligence / OpenAI, SQL (Azure + NAV), and historical tire data population from TireScan shares.

I led the whole project alone — API, populate jobs, Azure hosting, and the portal integration surface.

  • C# / .NET API, React portal UI, Azure SQL & App Service
  • OCR, OpenAI, SMB TireScan data, JWT / Azure AD
Tire Vision Trainer dashboard — TreadNet loss, reward, and live tests

07 · Solo · C# · TorchSharp · ML

Tire Vision Trainer

Local C# training tool that teaches small CNNs to read tire photos — brand, model, studs, size, load and speed — using labeled history from Azure SQL / NAV. TorchSharp (LibTorch), ImageSharp, SQL, optional GPU.

  • C#, TorchSharp / TorchVision, ImageSharp
  • Azure SQL + NAV + SMB image pipeline
MDH case system — customer and staff case conversations

08 · Pair · .NET · Next.js · React

MDH case system

Customer inquiry / case handling for Mittdekkhotell — chat-style conversations on the customer site, staff case desk in the dealer portal, status and assignment flows.

Built together with a very experienced full-time developer at MDH. Stack surface: Next.js (customer), React (portal), .NET APIs, Azure.

  • Next.js customer cases + React portal case desk
  • .NET backend / Azure — paired with senior MDH engineer

About

I’m Benjamin, CEO and manager of Balder Software AS, and an IT developer based in Norway. I started developing in early 2020 and have spent the years since turning ideas into working software — from first commit to production care.

I care about systems that stay understandable: clean interfaces, solid backends, and infrastructure that doesn’t fight you at 2 a.m. — from cloud products like MemberCam to hardware experiments with GPS and Bluetooth.
